Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is the major airport in the state of Alaska and is located four miles southwest of downtown Anchorage. Named after current and long-standing U.S. Senator Ted Stevens, it is Alaska Airlines' second-largest hub, after Seattle. It is also a major cargo hub and  ranks as the world's third-busiest airport by cargo traffic, after Memphis and Hong Kong. The majority of passenger flight operations are on Alaska Airlines to and from Seattle and average about 20 flights per day. 

Fairbanks International Airport is a public airport located three miles southwest of the city of Fairbanks.  The airport serves many cargo airlines as a convenient refueling stop for some aircraft on trans-polar routes. FAI is served by a limited number of passenger airlines. Alaska Airlines, serves the airport year-round, while Northwest Airlines and Delta Air Lines serve FAI during the summer.  The airport currently averages about 13 flights per day.

Juneau International Airport is a public airport located 7 miles northwest of Juneau.  The airport has one runway and one seaplane landing area. The airport also serves as a regional hub for all air travel, both bush carriers and the regional airline, Alaska Airlines with over 152,000 takeoffs and landings per year.
